Company Overview
Martech Electrical Systems Ltd. designs, manufactures, distributes, installs, and services electrical systems and equipment for use in a variety of industries.
Incorporated in 1983 in the Province of British Columbia, we are one of the largest suppliers of electrical services in the interior of British Columbia. Our Head Office and main plant is in Castlegar, B.C., with branch plants in Cranbrook and Sparwood, B.C.
Martech Electrical Systems Ltd. is fully qualified to perform contract services for low, medium, and high voltage systems including testing, commissioning, calibration, and staff training.
We exclusively represent several major companies as agents and distributors for transformers, drives, and other electrical equipment.
Other services offered by the Martech Group include manufacturing of CSA-approved control panels, control switch houses, utility and portable substations, metal-enclosed and metal-clad switchgear up to 69KV class, and communications and wireless data systems. Martech is BC Hydro certified for aluminum bus bar to technical specification E825 R10 CSA W47.2 and W59.2 and AWS D1.2.
Our multi-disciplined organization offers our valued clients effective solutions for their electrical requirements. Complementing its electrical and manufacturing divisions, Martech Electrical Systems Ltd. offers power line construction from distribution through to 500KV transmission class.
Martech expanded in 1989 opening the Martech Motor Winding division encompassing motor, generator, and pumps sales and service along with a custom metal fabrication division. The custom fabrication division has developed from control cabinets and switch gear to suppliers of major structural steel components; chassis and coatings.
